Frequently asked questions
What hardware do I need to run Postree POS?
Your plan includes one POS terminal, with both the hardware and the software licence. Postree also runs on any Windows 10 or Windows 11 device with a touchscreen; we recommend a minimum of 4 GB RAM and an internet connection for cloud sync. For extra stations we offer pre-configured hardware bundles including touchscreen terminals, receipt printers, cash drawers, and barcode scanners.
Does the POS work if my internet goes down?
Yes. Postree is designed to keep working offline. Orders, payments, and receipts continue to process normally. Once your connection is restored, all data syncs automatically to the cloud so your reports stay accurate.
Can I switch from another POS system?
Absolutely. Our onboarding team handles the migration for you. We can import your menu items, product categories, pricing, and customer data from most major POS systems. Most migrations are completed within 48 hours with no disruption to your service.
How long does staff training take?
Most staff are comfortable with Postree within a single shift. The interface is designed to be intuitive, with large buttons, clear categories, and a logical order flow. We also provide on-site training, video tutorials, and a comprehensive help centre to support your team.
